2011 Farm Science Review

42 Meadowbrook FFA members piled into a school bus and headed to London, Ohio on September 21, 2011. They were going to the Farm Science Review held every year at the Ohio State University Research Center. Every year we leave early in the morning before school starts and usually get back by the end of the school day.

Roy M. Kottman is credited with starting this event. This was the 50th year for the review. There is many demonstration plots and machinery located on the grounds. There were farm safety booths and arts and crafts tents. There was a soils pit for students to judge and a scientist to explain it.

There were thousands of people in attendance, including other FFA members, advisors, farmers, and others. The students had a great time and learned while they did.
